As part of her report on Cognac, Anna-Fanély Simon meets Fernand Favreau, a distiller, around a table in a restaurant-bar in Segonzac.
According to the man, the restaurant held by Cedric is one of the best addresses in the region where the entire wine profession meets for lunch.
The restaurant is a real place in Segonzac since it is the former restaurant Chevalier de la Croix Maron, now called Gueuleton de Segonzac.
The volume number 1 of Cognac : The demons’ share is composed of 46 plates illustrated by Luc Brahy.
Gueuleton Segonzac
At the beginning of Millardet Street is one of the restaurants of the Gueuleton des Bons vivants group.
Formerly a post office relay, the building became for several decades the hotel-restaurant Hôtel de France before being named Chevalier de la Croix Maron.
Since 2022, the establishment has been bought by the Gueuleton group, which has set up one of their restaurants in Segonzac.
