Nathan's home
Nathan (Stéphane Metzger) lives in a beautiful barge on the Charente. It is here that his girlfriend Marion (Sandrine Bonnaire), a lawyer at the Angoulême bar, comes to see him. Unoccupied at the time of the shooting, the barge constituted a decor of choice for the teams of the TV movie La Loi de Marion. A place in which many scenes involving Sandrine Bonnaire and Stéphane Metzger take place.
Given the availability of the place, the director has all the necessary amplitude to film his scenes on this barge. Since the end of the production, it has also been bought by the MR Gallery. The latter has completely renovated it and transformed it into a work space available for rent.
Stéphane Metzger is an actor of television and cinema, seen in Assassin(s), Dobermann, Michel Vaillant, 36 quai des Orfèvres or the series Section de recherches. He also doubled the actor Daniel Bess in the first season of 24.
La Loi de Marion is the result of the collaboration of French and Belgian structures.
51 Bd Besson Bey
Totally renovated, painted in black and grey, this barge houses the Annex of the Galerie MR in Angoulême.
Moored on the Charente, this 300 m2 barge is emblematic of the city of Angoulême. Formerly used for the transport of sand, it was for a time converted into a dwelling before changing into a workspace. Immersed in the vegetation, in the heart of a quiet district, it is accessible thanks to a metal footbridge. It is possible to rent it and take advantage of its modern and functional infrastructures.
