Fittes House
The Barbican Center is not one of the most recognizable buildings among those used in the filming of the first season of Lockwood & Co. Nevertheless, it is here that director and showrunner Joe Cornish filmed the sequence in which Lucy Carlyle is refused a job because of her lack of qualifications. The Fittes House is the main organization responsible for paranormal investigators.

Revelation
Lockwood & Co. gave young Cameron Chapman his first major role. Playing Anthony Lockwood, the founder of the agency to which he gave his name, he confided in the columns of Country and Town House magazine: “I was in my final year at drama school. I had just signed with my agent and I was starting to get into the process of auditions, et cetera. After getting a call out of the blue asking me to meet the creative team, it was a whirlwind week of auditioning, chemistry tests with Ruby and Ali, and even a stunt audition. It was surreal, but I knew I had my work cut out for me, so I didn’t stand around reflecting on it for too long, to be honest. I do remember calling my dad to tell him, but he couldn’t pick up and he sent a photo of him on a snowy cliff (climbing) – that made me laugh.“
Three directors share the direction of the first season of Lockwood & Co. namely Catherine Morshead, Joe Cornish and William McGregor.
