Champagne Bar
The whole last part of Murder Mystery 2 takes place in the Eiffel Tower. A monument to which director Jeremy Garelick had access, even if the script of his film also required the construction of an entire section of the famous Parisian building in the studio. The whole scene in which Jennifer Aniston swings up and down on the tower was, for example, filmed in a secure environment, far from the real Eiffel Tower. This sequence required the use of digital effects.
The iron lady at the center of the plot
Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston did not miss to enjoy the Parisian capital. They confided in Konbini about it. Jennifer Aniston returned to her incredible stunt, highlighting the work of Kelly, her understudy: “She performed this incredible stunt around 1:30, 1:45 am. She rappelled, it was amazing, and then they added my face.“Adam Sandler did not fail to point out the incredible resemblance between Jennifer Aniston and his understudy. The interpreter of Rachel in Friends has also played a trick to his partner during a kissing scene, by being doubled by his stuntwoman.
Two Eiffel Towers for the price of one
Jeremy Garelick filmed his actors first in the real Eiffel Tower and then in the real set. The editing gives an amazing impression, even though, contrary to what the actors pointed out during the promotion of the film, this is far from the first time a filmmaker has filmed a stunt scene on the Iron Lady. Already in 1985, Roger Moore and Grace Jones made the monument see all the colors in the James Bond Dangerously Yours. And this time, without the help of digital images!
A life-size replica of a portion of the Eiffel Tower was built for the film.
Bar à Champagne
Located at the top of the Eiffel Tower, this bar offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy a glass of champagne while admiring the most beautiful view of Paris.
Perched 276 meters above sea level, the Champagne Bar consists of a small counter installed at the top of the Eiffel Tower. Ideal for admiring Paris, celebrating a special event or declaring one’s passion, the Champagne Bar is one of a kind. In particular, it offers a caviar and champagne formula at €69, as well as a selection of non-alcoholic drinks.
