“- Mr. Lebel. Thank you so much for coming. I can’t believe it

– Oh there’s no Mr. Lebel here, call me Captain Hook!”

Arthur Salacrou (Nicolas Gob) welcoming Benjamin Lebel (Pierre Arditi)

Benjamin Lebel (Pierre Arditi) is invited by Arthur Salacrou (Nicolas Gob), a friend who saved his life four years ago in Madagascar, for the inauguration of his cellar called “Les Vins du bout du monde”. The evening being broadcasted live on internet, Arthur takes advantage of it to present his Charente vodka, to which he associates Benjamin, however reluctant to engage with him in the launching of the drink. But at the moment of the presentation, Arthur is pierced by a harpoon from his rifle.

The episode was shot exclusively in Angoulême and its surroundings during the summer of 2015. The shooting had notably upset the life of the village of Coteaux-du-Blanzacais where the Diabason restaurant is located and which had been used as a set for the “Les Vins du bout du monde” winery. Abandoned at the time, it was later taken over by a young chef, renaming the establishment L’Arthémy. During the shooting, the inhabitants will have, in addition to seeing Pierre Arditi, seen Michel Drucker who came to Angoulême to see his friend actor.
