The Mist poster

Adaptation of the short story Mist, by Stephen King, The Mist is one of the horror classics of the 2000s.

Telling how a mysterious fog carrying tentacled monsters corners the inhabitants of a small town in a supermarket, The Mist is Frank Darabont’s fifth feature film. The latter, already praised for his work on The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, two other adaptations of Stephen King, is often cited as the director who best understood the universe of the master of horror. The Mist re-released years later in a black and white version.
