Carried by the staging of Tristan Aurouet, here for the first time in solo, Mineurs 27 tackles a very sensitive subject. Benefiting from the interpretation of promising debutant Finnegan Oldfield, the Lellouche brothers, relatives of the filmmaker and Aïssa Maïga, the film also saw Nassim Si Ahmed and Marie-Ange Casta make their debut on the big screen. Jean-Hugues Anglade plays the leading role. Mineurs 27 had a budget of €3.02 million and was released in theaters on September 21, 2011.
