Fantrippers

Appearing on the album Femmes et famines, released in 1975, the piece L’île de Ré sees the famous singer from Toulouse declaring his love for this little piece of land that looks like paradise. Written during a vacation on the Ile de Ré, this title has been played several times in concert by the artist. Often mentioned by fans as one of the little-known nuggets of the work of the great Claude, L’île de Ré naturally found a particular echo with the inhabitants of the island.
