Adaptation of the eponymous play also written and directed by Stéphan Archinard and François Prévôt-Leygonie, Amitiés Sincères is the latter’s first feature film. Although most of the action takes place in Paris, 90% of the film was shot in the region of La Rochelle and the Ile de Ré. With 717,692 admissions recorded at the box office, the film was one of the great popular successes of 2013. It received the Public’s Favorite at the Croisic Film Festival in 2012.
