American Psycho chronicles the double life of a Wall Street wealth management advisor. A good man in every way, capable of the worst atrocities when night falls and his low instincts take over. When it was released, American Psycho sparked a real scandal but sold several million copies. It was adapted for cinema by Mary Harron in 2000, with Christian Bale in the lead role. In 2002, a sequel was born, with no direct link to the book, carried by Mila Kunis. The latter plays a victim of Patrick Bateman.
