1. Avengers Tower – Avengers

The Tony Stark Tower became, in the first Avengers, an antenna for a portal opening the way to Earth for the aliens. Later, the same tower served as the operational base for the Avengers superhero team. Located in place of the MetLife Building, above Grand Central Terminal at 200 Park Avenue, the headquarters of these protectors of the planet has been abused more than once, only to be relocated later upstate. This splendid tower in the heart of New York is a real must-see.

Tony Stark’s villa is unfortunately fictional, but it is very strongly inspired by the Razor Residence at 9826 La Jolla Farms Road, in La Jolla, California, which you will surely recognize with its splendid cliff on which it stands and its huge bay windows.

3. Tony Stark’s cabin – Avengers: Endgame

In Avengers: Endgame, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) has exiled himself far from all luxury and big cities to devote himself to his little family in this charming cabin lost in the middle of the woods in Fairburn, Georgia. Recently, the premises were also used for the film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Nearby, Africa is reaching out to you as the plains of Black Panther‘s Wakanda are actually those of the Bouckaert farm in Fairburn. The perfect stay.

4. Millennium Bridge – Guardians of the Galaxy

The Millennium Bridge appears multiple times in the film. It is on this bridge dating from 2000 that Rocket (Bradley Cooper) notices Stan Lee with a young Xandarian woman or that later Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) chases Gamora (Zoe Saldana). We also see many Xandarians fleeing on the building during the attack of Ronan’s armies (Lee Pace). Doubling the character of Groot was a real therapeutic treatment for Vin Diesel. Affected by the death of his colleague and friend, Paul Walker, he would have been able to grieve thanks to the innocence and sensitivity of the humanoid tree he was playing. The name Rocket Raccoon was inspired by the Beatles’ song, Rocky Raccoon. When it was founded in 1976, Rocket was short for Rocky.

Address: Millennium Bridge, London, United Kingdom

5. Lincoln Memorial – Captain America: Winter Soldier

The very first scene of the film unveils the jogging around the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool with Sam Wilson’s Washington Memorial (Anthony Mackie) in the background, frequently caught up by this dear Captain!

Address: 2 Lincoln Memorial Cir NW, Washington, DC, USA

6. Planet Vormir – Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame

Thanos (Josh Brolin) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana) go to this planet to search for the soul stone, as will later Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). To build this apocalyptic landscape, Marvel Studio set up its cameras in Brazil, in the Lençois Maranhenses National Park. “This reserve was chosen for its unique natural setting, where white sand dunes surround azure blue lagoons,” explains Victoria Marino of Brazil Production Services. It took four days to film the footage on Vormir. However, Victoria Marino is keen to warn, “it’s such a remote place that it’s only accessible by 4X4.”.

Address: Lençois Maranhenses, Barreirinhas – State of Maranhão, Brazil

7. Peter Parker’s high school – Spider-Man: Homecoming

Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is a young high school student who still goes to school despite his Spider-Man superpowers! It is in this establishment that he befriended his best buddy Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) and of course MJ (Zendaya). Franklin K. Lane High School was a New York City public high school located in the borough of Brooklyn. In 2012, the school was closed for “poor performance.” In our universe, Midtown High doesn’t exist. For the purposes of the film, they decided to use Franklin K. Lane High School in New York for the exterior shots. Lane High School in New York City for the exterior shots.

The Elder (Tilda Swinton) fights Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen) and his henchmen in the streets of London. This scene, probably one of the most impressive in terms of special effects, was shot at Great Scotland Yard. It was in reference to this street, in which its offices were located, that the Metropolitan Police Service took the name Scotland Yard. While the feature film was released in 2016, the project is almost 30 years old. Numerous proposals for adaptation have been made, without ever seeing the light of day, as early as 1986, then in 1992, 2001 and 2008.
