From the first to the eighth installment, Fast and Furious takes us from the streets of Los Angeles to London and Puerto Rico. A real pilgrimage in the footsteps of the Toretto family.
1. House of Dominic Toretto
Wanting to locate the plot of Fast and Furious in Los Angeles, director Rob Cohen chose the Echo Park neighborhood because of its hilly streets. It is in the neighborhood that he finds the house of Dominic Toretto. Built in 1906, this house has become one of the most famous in the city. Although the building corresponds perfectly to the ambitions of the film, the director will make some small changes including repainting the house in white to bring out the cars. The two actresses Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez did not have a driver’s license before joining the saga.

3. Pearl Champagne Lounge (closed) – 2 Fast 2 Furious
In 2 Fast 2 Furious, Carter Verone (Cole Hauser) meets Brian and Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) in this lounge. The drug lord is bringing a policeman in. He tortures him by inserting a rat in a champagne bucket placed on his naked belly to force him to give him information, under the stunned gaze of his two friends. In real life, the club was much quieter and fancier than in fiction.

4. Drift races – FNF: Tokyo Drift
Supposedly set in Tokyo, the action of the third installment is actually filmed in and around Los Angeles for the most part. Among the various addresses, the former Hawthorne Plaza shopping center is the gathering place for drifters. Opened in 1977, the complex saw its aura decline in the 1990s, following the numerous closures of aerospace plants in the area. In 1999, its doors closed permanently. Since then, many films such as Minority Report, The Green Hornet or some episodes of Teen Wolf have used the place, as well as the clips of David Guetta Bang My Head or Taylor Swift …Ready for It? A renovation plan for the building has been underway since 2016.

5. David Park’s apartment – Fast and Furious 4
A suspect in Brian’s investigation in Fast and Furious 4, the cop goes to David Park’s (Ron Yuan) home for questioning. Dominic Toretto beat him to it and threatens to throw him out of the window of his apartment at 2619 West 8th Street.

6. Streets of Rio de Janeiro – Fast and Furious 5
Retired to Rio de Janeiro in Fast and Furious 5, the Torettos live a peaceful life, before their past catches up with them. In fact, the streets of Puerto Rico serve as a stand-in for those of the Brazilian city.

7. Lambeth Bridge – Fast and Furious 6
The armored car attack in Moscow in Fast and Furious 6 was actually shot in the heart of London, on Lambeth Bridge. Inaugurated in 1932, it has stone obelisks with pineapple at each end. This feature is an amusing tribute to a Lambeth resident, John Tradescant. The man is supposed to have brought the first pineapple to Britain. Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, can boast to be a real crime fighter. Dressed in tactical filming gear, gun in hand, he came face to face with burglars in front of a production van. Panic-stricken, they fled the scene when they saw him!

8. Intersection 6N32 & Old Ridge Route – Fast and Furious 7
Probably the saddest sequence of the movie, the farewell to Paul Walker in Fast and Furious 7. Died in a car accident in 2013 while shooting this opus, the actor could not leave the Fast and Furious saga without a certain dignity. 9. Rooftop – FNF 8

10. Leadenhall Building – Hobbs & Shaw
