Randall and Beth’s house

This is where Randall (Sterling K. Brown), Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) and their two daughters live. Although the Pearsons’ home is supposed to be in Alpine, New Jersey – with Randall working in New York – it was in California that the production found the family home. A building that is already in operation in the 7 series at home. The first trailer of This is us set a record level of viewing as soon as it was released, reaching 25 million views and smashing the previous champion’s score, Legends of Tomorrow.
Kate’s apartment

Kate (Chrissy Metz) lives without that nice apartment in California. Chrissy Metz, the actress playing Kate, made her television debut in the series Entourage. She was also seen in Earl and American Horror Story: Freak Show. She has also published a book entitled This is me, in which she tells her life story.
The Pearson House

It is here in Pittsburgh that Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) move in when their children are born. In reality, the Pearsons’ family home is located in the suburbs of Los Angeles, between Las Flores Drive and Hill Drive. This 1910 construction already appeared in the film Teen Wolf with Michael J. Fox. This is us was originally a feature film project for ABC Studios. It was after signing a contract with Fox that creator Dan Folgelman decided to turn it into a series, finally produced by NBC. The first title envisaged was also 36, in relation to the age of the protagonists at the beginning of the story.

Froggy’s

It’s Jack and Rebecca’s favorite bar. This is where she sings in front of her future husband. The bar, supposed to be in Pittsburgh, was inspired by a series of real coffee shops. Nevertheless, it was at Godmother’s Saloon in San Pedro that the teams set up their cameras. You can enjoy many cocktails and several concerts every week. Known and appreciated by fans of Gilmore Girls and Heroes, Milo Ventimiglia also played Rocky’s son in the movie Rocky Balboa. He later resumed his role in Creed II.
The Pearson cabin

The Pearsons like to take refuge in this beautiful cabin in the woods. This is where the family spends their holidays. Horror movie lovers, this wooden house lost in the forest may remind you of something. And for good reason, because it was the scene of the bloody forfeitures of Jason, the hockey-mask killer in two films of the Friday the 13th saga. Of all the actors on the show, Sterling K. Brown, the interpreter of Randall, is one of those whose filmography is the most impressive. Seen in Castle, Alias, the JAG, Masters of Sex, American Crime Story, Emergency or The Godd Wife, he has also acted in The Predator, Split, or Law and Order, alongside Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. He is also the only actor in the series to have been awarded a Golden Globes for his performance.
The tree

Rebecca and her children go to the foot of this tree to pay their respects to Jack. It’s hard to say more without a spoiler! The tree has acquired a sudden popularity among the many fans of the series. Spotlighted by Sylvester Stallone in Rocky Balboa, Milo Ventimiglia, Jack’s interpreter, asked the actor to come and make an appearance, in his own role, in the series. Sly gladly accepted.
