The largest Harry Potter store opens in New York this summer

Movie
After Platform 9 ¾, Diagon Alley or Leaky Cauldron, here's a new must-see place that all Harry Potter fans will have to visit. In New York this summer, the world's largest store on the saga will open its doors. Fantrippers tells you more about this magical place.

The largest Harry Potter store opens in New York this summer…

On January 9th, Warner Bros. was communicating about the first official Harry Potter store. After the amusement park in London, whose success is phenomenal, the American firm gave the first information about this unique place. Located near the Flatiron Building in the neighborhood of the same name, the store will be located at 935 Broadway New York, NY 10010.

Composed of three floors, it will be spread over nearly 2000 m2. It will be a real paradise for fans of the saga created by J. K. Rowling in 1997. Since the films in 2007, the craze is so great around the famous sorcerer that derivative products are multiplying. They will have a place of choice in this huge shop.

In this, Warner Bros. promises the world’s largest marketable collection of Harry Potter memorabilia.

Ollivander wands, Dobby plush, Griffindor dresses, Slytherin medallion… everything will be at hand.

On the ground floor, visitors will be able to sip a beer-butter in a café that looks like the Leaky Cauldron. Screens will also show the films from the saga as well as those from Fantastic Beasts. (link) Tourists will also be able to enjoy interactive experiences, take pictures in the corners or visit the candy shop to taste Bertie Bott’s magic beans, among other things.

For the objects, they will be derived from the famous Wizarding World collection. Their impressive numbers will turn the heads of Harry Potter aficionados. Mugs, posters or posters will of course be present.

The clothes of the four houses (Griffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin and Ravenclaw) will allow tourists to dress like their favourite heroes. Dresses, T-shirts, sweaters, scarves and caps will be the perfect outfit for this.

In the jewellery department, you can find pendants, rings, necklaces or badges. Among them: Salazar Slytherin’s medallion, Swaroski’s crystal bracelet, Gaunt’s ring, pins from the Deathly Hallows and objects around the Quidditch are eagerly awaited.

In addition to the novels of the saga, visitors will be able to buy all kinds of stuffed animals, including Dobby’s, but also board games, chess boards, puzzles, mirrors, masks, swords, crystal balls and many figurines.

The official Harry Potter store in New York will also have its exclusive items, which fans won’t find anywhere else. The famous Ollivander wands will be among them. Thus, Bellatrix Lestrange, Voldemort or Newt Scamander’s glow sticks will delight fans.

It should be noted that there is another shop around the saga, The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾, in King’s Cross station in London, but it is not “official”.

The Harry Potter store in New York City should quickly become a must-see place for fans of the saga to buy souvenirs and objects reminiscent of the novels or films. A beautiful destination whose opening date we do not know for the moment.
