The actor mainly known for his role as Edward Cullen in the saga Twilight will finally embody the famous Dark Knight in film, under the direction of Matt Reeves. Supported by many fans on the internet as well as by the studio, Robert Pattinson becomes “Battinson” as he is now called by the internet users.
The Batman will thus mark a new era in DC Comics with no connection to the Zack Snyder era. Among the other characters scheduled for casting, Alfred, Commissioner Gordon and Robin should accompany Battinson in his adventures confronting him with Catwoman, the Penguin and the Sphinx according to the first information revealed by The Hollywood Reporter.
Will the beautiful New Yorker be there to embody the dark and terrifying Gotham like the other Batman movies? With a theatrical release scheduled for June 23, 2021, shooting of this film should begin in 2020. If successful, a chivalric trilogy is planned. A case to follow.
