Stan Lee's Top 10 Marvel cameos in the Marvel movies

Stan Lee, master of the art of cameo…
Stan Lee, who died on November 12, 2018, was known for his many cameos in Marvel movies. By the way, why was that funny man with glasses visible in all those feature films?
As a comic book writer, Stan Lee helped create many characters for the House of Ideas. Spider-Man, Thor, the Avengers, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, in short the greatest heroes of Marvel are due to Stan Lee, but also to the cartoonists with whom he collaborated. Editor-in-chief, ambassador of the publishing house in universities, executive producer, Stan Lee was multi-hatted and quickly became the mascot of Marvel Studios. His discreet appearances began as early as 1982 in the film The Incredible Hulk, in which he is the narrator. A look back at the top 10 of his surprising but long-awaited cameos.
1- Daredevil (2003), Stan Lee reckless
Ben Affleck’s Daredevil is much decried, but Stan Lee’s cameo is mythical. He is a reckless passerby who tries to cross the street without looking, and is saved by young Matt Murdock (Scott Terra). This heroic act recalls the true origin of the superhero’s powers in the comics created by the venerable Stan Lee. So it’s normal to appear here.

2- Spider-Man 3 (2007)

In Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3, Stan Lee comes to cheer up the hero, a little lost in front of a Times Square news board. He confides in her “You know, I guess one person can make a difference. ‘Nuff said.” and leaves, as if nothing had happened, leaving Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) pumped up by this little phrase. A habit picked up by the spider-man. Times Square, a must-see place to find in our New York guide of the 1000 cult places of films, series, music, comics and novels.

3- The Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer (2007)
It’s not the best Marvel movie, and the rights were owned by Fox, but Stan Lee helped create them. So it made sense that he would make a cameo. In this one, he is turned away at the entrance to the wedding of Susan (Jessica Alba) and Reed Richards (Ioan Gruffudd), the security guard not believing him when he claims to be … Stan Lee. Ironic, isn’t it? As for the building used for the wedding, it has since been demolished.

4- Iron Man (2008), Stan Lee Hefner

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) goes to the Firemen’s Charity Ball, organized by himself but to which… he is not invited. When he arrives in great pomp, he taps a Stan Lee on the shoulder, confusing him with Hugh Hefner, the famous founder of the Playboy newspaper. Charming!

5- Thor (2011)
Everyone tries to lift Thor’s hammer from the crater that the heavy tool dug when it crashed to Earth. All means are good to achieve this, and one of the clever guys trying to extract it is none other than Stan Lee, by means of a cable attached to his pickup truck. Mjolnir is the strongest, and the former screenwriter’s truck is partially destroyed. At the same time, you really had to be hammered.

6- Captain America: The Soldier of Winter (2014)

“If you’re gonna fight a war, you gotta wear a uniform.”. Captain (Chris Evans) is pursued by Hydra who has infiltrated the ranks of S.H.I.E.L.D., but he can count on Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and the Falcon (Anthony Mackie) to help him stem the threat. Having left his uniform at S.H.I.E.L.D., the good Captain borrows his old suit from a museum. A museum whose custodian is none other than Stan Lee. When this one realizes the disappearance of the uniform, he declares “Oh, man. I am so fired!”. A museum located in Cleveland, not Washington.

8- Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Stan Lee “Exclesior”

Look out, here comes friend Stan Lee’s favorite cameo. In the tower of the Avengers, a small party is organized in honor of the owners of the place. Among the guests are war veterans, and one of them calls out to Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and asks him to pour a few drops of his famous mead, the nectar of the gods. Afterwards, the former soldier is escorted out held by two men and exclaims “Excelsior”, a favorite word of the late Stan Lee. This cameo was his favourite, as it has two scenes where he appears instead of the usual one.

9- Deadpool (2016)
Stan Lee has the groove and proves it in Deadpool where he is the DJ of the strip club where Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) works. A few seconds when he appears, but that certainly provokes a burst of laughter. The exterior of the club was filmed in front of the Cobal Hotel at 917 Main Street in Vancouver. On the other hand the interior, place of the cameo, is that of the No5 Orange at 205 Main Street.

10- Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

New York is attacked by Thanos’ henchmen, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) felt it well. He asks his best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) to create a diversion while Spider-Man can get out of the bus and get to the place of the attack.
