Turk is a Belgian cartoonist born in 1947 in Durbuy.

In 1966, Turk, whose real name is Philippe Liègeois, met Bob de Groot. Three years later, they created their first series, Robin Dubois. Together, they took over Clifton, the hero created by Raymond Macherot.

Still with Bob de Groot, in 1974 they created Léonard, a parody of Léonard de Vinci.
