Ross Andru was an American comic book artist born in 1927 and died in 1993.

    After taking courses with Burne Hogarth, Ross Andru worked with him on his Tarzan series in 1948.

    With Robert Kanigher, he created Metal Men and then Wonder Woman from 1958 to 1967.

    He became the illustrator of Spider-Man in 1973. The following year, he was the co-creator with Gerry Conway and John Romita Sr of the series The Punisher.

    In 2007 he was inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame.
