Artist Pierre Makyo

Pierre Makyo is a comic book writer born in 1952 in Dunkerque.

Pierre Makyo began his professional career in the newspaper Spirou.

He wrote the script Balade au bout du monde from 1982 onwards, then imagined Grimion gant de cuir. He met Alain Dodier with whom he produced Gully puir Jérôme K. Jérôme Bloche (scripted for 5 volumes).

He received the Prix des Colleges in 2020 at the Angoulême Festival for volume 1 of Obie Koul with Alessia Buffolo.
