Paola Pigani is a French novelist and poet born in June 1963 in Cellefrouin, Charente.

Paola Pigni made a name for herself with her first collection of short stories, Concertina, in 2006, with which she won the Prométhée Prize for Short Stories.

Seven years later, she wrote her first novel, N’entre pas dans mon âme avec tes chaussures, for which she won 8 awards.

This was followed by Indovina, Des orties et des hommes and La renouée aux oiseaux.
