    After studying at the Angoulême Fine Arts School, Jean-Luc Loyer began a career in cartooning.

    In 1998, he published his first album Les mangeurs de cailloux. Then came the Victor series, Le chat botté, Noir métal, Sang noir, Le Grand A and La balance, le glaive et les fourmis.
