Self-taught, Eric Wantiez is a member of the Atelier du marquis in Angoulême and published his first book in 2009, Pierre et Lou.
He co-founded the publisher Comme une orange the following year. Then came Nino, Un secret, Histoire d’Angoulême (2 volumes), Le printemps d’Oan and Conte de la nuit noir.
