He began his career in the 1940s. He then moved to Belgium with his brother Gianni, also a cartoonist.
He illustrates articles in the newspaper Tintin and the newspaper Spirou.
He published the series Signor Spaghetti, Bob Morane and resumed the series Modeste et Pompon of André Franquin.
