After studying at Amherst College, Dan Brown turned to a career in music. He released several albums and CDs.
In 1998, he wrote his first novel, Digital Fortress. But it was with the publication of The Da Vinci Code in 2003 that the public followed him in his literary adventures. He sold over 60.5 million copies worldwide. Three years later, this title was adapted for the cinema by Ron Howard.
This was followed by The Lost Symbol, Inferno and Origin in the Robert Langdon series, to which must be added Angels and Demons, the first part of his pentalogy.
