In 1975, Catherine Ringer sang in several plays. She met Marcia Moretto the following year, who became her dance teacher.
Her meeting with Fred Chichin in 1979 was decisive. They formed the group Les Rita Mitsouko. The public discovered them with Marcia Baïla in 1985.
Together they released 12 albums. When her partner died in 2007, she decided to continue singing and performed Les Rita Mitsouko’s hits on stage.
