After a tumour in her leg made her stop dancing at the age of 12, Anne Benoît decided to take drama classes at the Conservatoire de Versailles.
She made her film debut in 1981 in Le bahut va craquer by Michel Nerval. It was not until 2002 that she was seen again in front of a camera, in Nicole Garcia’s L’adversaire. Between these two dates, she played numerous roles in the theatre in Lucretia Borgia, La dame de chez Maxim and Britannicus.
She also appeared on television in Hard, Candice Renoir and Pandora.
