    Self-taught, Alain Dodier began his career in the fanzine Falatoff.

    He drew for the newspaper Spirou and the newspaper Tintin. He co-wrote the Gully series with Pierre Makyo.

    But his life’s work is Jérôme K. Jérôme Bloche, started in 1982 with Pierre Makyo and Serge Le Tendre.

    He received the prize for the series for Jérôme K. Jérôme Bloche in 2010 at the Angoulême Festival.
