This is where Cliff Boot (Brad Pitt) finds himself after dropping off one of the guru’s daughters (Margaret Qualley) . Quentin Tarantino first wanted to shoot on the original site of the Spahn Ranch, where the real Manson raged in the late 1960s, but the location was demolished. The Bruin and Village Theatres

948 Broxton Avenue, Los Angeles, California, USA

Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie) parks in the parking lot of the Fox Village Theater and walks down the street looking for the shop where she ordered a gift for her husband. While passing in front of a cinema, the debutante actress realizes that the film she has just shot, Matt Helm settles her account, is on the screen. Having some time ahead of her, she decides to enter the room… Here, time seems to have stopped since the 1950s and 1960s. Ideal to get a glimpse of the atmosphere of the time to which Tarantino rightly pays homage in his film. Fun fact: Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood was actually screened in this very cinema when it came out. So Margot Robbie could have gone there to see herself playing Sharon Tate on the screen?

Playboy Mansion

The parties at the Playboy Mansion have always been legendary. The one that Sharon Tate and her husband Roman Polanski (Rafał Zawierucha) attend is no exception. A place forbidden to the public, which has become much wiser since the death of Hugh Hefner, the famous creator of the long-eared magazine.

It is indeed here, in front of the supermarket, that Lady Gaga sings her Bradley Cooper composition for the first time.

Melody Ranch

24715 Oakcreek Avenue, Newhall, California, USA

Rick Dalton shoots in these studios Lancer, the western series of which he is the hero… If the Melody Ranch is not accessible at all times, it can nevertheless be visited by booking in advance. It was their former home, where the horrible murders took place on August 9, 1969, that Trent Reznor, the leader of the group Nine Inch Nails, transformed into a recording studio. It was when he in turn moved out that the building was destroyed to make way for a Mediterranean-style house.
