Spider-Man: Far From Home, a spider far from home

The trailer of Spider-Man: Far From Home has just been released, and already we can notice many details in it and, of course, its locations.

We start by seeing Aunt May giving a “High Five” to her nephew Peter in a Spider-Man costume! Fake ironic comedy campaign or Petey’s secret out? Anyway this sequence bounces back to the final scene of Spider-Man: Homecoming in which Aunt May surprises her nephew in costume. Did he confess or did he give another explanation?

Back in his room, our young hero is packing his suitcase for Europe, and its initials indicate that it belonged to his uncle, Ben Parker.

In the meantime, the friendly neighborhood spider is weaving its web in New York City and passes the Avengers Tower, which is being rebuilt. A scene full of promise.

Venice as a first step

And the first stop on this journey is Venice. Capital of lovers, we see Ned (Jacob Batalon), “M.J.” (Zendaya) and Peter (Tom Holland) on a gondola heading to the Hotel De Matteis. The name of the latter is not insignificant since it is a nod to J.M. De Matteis, a comic book writer who wrote many issues of Spider-Man.

It is in this hotel that Nick Fury appears to give Spider-Man a mission to fight a brand new enemy. Avengers’ shortage following Avengers’: Endgame events or mere coincidence?

Later in the trailer, you can see Ned enthusiastic and Peter perplexed in Calle Del Vento and the Rialto bridge on which Peter is attacked by Hydro-Man.

London in the second part of the trip

Tower Bridge is very present in the trailer. The first time we see him in the background is when Spider-Man throws himself into the void wearing a brand new costume, a second one with the high school students on the floor of a double-decker bus, a third one when the famous bridge is struck by lightning and finally a last one where we see M.J., Ned and other passers-by running away.

The Fantrippers Buying Board

Vintage Square Iron Man Sunglasses

Tony Stark gave Peter Parker a pair of sunglasses as a gift. Here is the official replica. They will only protect you from the sun’s rays because E.D.I.T.H. is unfortunately not provided. However, they will allow you to get the charisma of the irreverent Tony Stark.
