The actress has indeed offered herself Kualoa Ranch for her wedding, famous setting of Jurassic Park and its reboot Jurassic World. The island that hosts the dinosaurs, Isla Nublar is actually the Hawaiian island of Oahu.
The beautiful valley where the ranch is located was sacred to Hawaiians between the 13th and 18th centuries. In 1850, a doctor, Dr. Gerrit P. Judd, bought a few acres of this sacred land for $1,300. To thank him for his work in translating medical journals, King Kamehameha – who inspired Akira Toriyama’s special technique of the same name in the Dragon Ball series – sold him several more acres. Today, Kualoa Ranch is nearly 4000 acres in size.
And yet the place almost never appeared in Jurassic Park. In 1992, the film crew had planned to film the outdoor scenes on the island of Kauai. Surprised by Hurricane Iniki, the team had to move to the island of Oahu, where the famous ranch is located, the venue for this social gathering.
The actress will be present at the casting of The Perfectionists, spin off of the series Pretty Little Liars.
