Royal Dragon

This former carwash was totally renovated for the needs of the series.  The production transformed it into a Chinese restaurant. It’s in the front window that the SUV of Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) finishes its race in order to prevent a fight between Elektra Nachios (Elodie Yung) and the three other Defenders.

The Hand’s Headquarters

Midland Circle, the cover company run by The Hand is established in this elegant apartment building.  Jessica is looking for the architect as part of another investigation.

Paramount Theatre

Even if we see the inside of this building more often than the outside, the facade is significant.  The Defenders hide here during the war against The Hand. Open in 1930, it was the biggest cinema on the island with 2,300 seats.  It closed in 1977 and was converted into a nightclub, then into a concert hall in which both the Ramones and Metallica performed. This location has now been closed and definitively abandoned since the late 80s.

St Nicholas Park

When Luke Cage (Mike Colter) returns to Harlem after his time in prison, he gets off the bus at Saint Nicholas Park where he finds Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson).  A little later, he goes through this park again while conversing with Misty Knight (Simone Missick). She encourages him to take over after Pop for the benefit of the area youth.

Mount Zion Cemetery

It’s in this cemetery that Elektra is supposed to be buried. Having become Black Sky, she returns to the site of the grave where she should normally be resting in peace.  This 78 acres cemetery, open in 1893, contains about 210,000 graves.

Metro Diner

Matthew Murdock (Charlie Cox) invites his former secretary Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) for coffee.  He’s lying when he tells her he doesn’t miss his alter ego, Daredevil. Even though it only opened in 1996, this diner with a deliciously vintage decor will take you even further back in time.

Jazz At Lincoln Center

Alexandra Reid (Sigourney Weaver) likes solitude, especially when listening to classical music by the enormous windowed wall with a breathtaking view of Central Park.  This building is an integral part of Time Warner Center and houses the first concert hall especially designed for jazz music. The biggest of the three amphitheaters can seat 1,233.

Wall Street Heliport

Danny Rand (Finn Jones) and Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) return by helicopter after hunting down The Hand around the world.  They arrive here at the exact moment when the terrible earthquake starts. Why not do like them? From this jetty you can take a sky tour over the city.  Let’s just hope that your landing will be a little less eventful!

Police Building

Just after the quake hits New York, Matt Murdock goes to the top of his apartment to keep a lookout.  We get a glimpse of this superb neo-classical building easily recognizable by the domes and columns.
