Winterfell, Castle Black, Kings Landing, so many places that will be, from the end of the event series, visitable. HBO has announced this desire to open the doors of certain sets to as many people as possible. No official date for the moment, although the channel has mentioned 2019. These venues, which will boost tourism in Northern Ireland, will follow in the footsteps of exhibitions and The Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience already put on by the American broadcaster.
Even if we can already follow in the footsteps of the heroes at sites such as San Juan de Gaztelugatxe alias Peyredragon, Mdina Gate alias the gate of Port-Real and Essaouira alias Astapor, the novelties will be access to the real sets, while production equipment, props, costumes and weapons will be on display.

The project aims to celebrate Northern Ireland, which has a truly central role in the series, but also “to share its culture, beauty and warmth,” according to Jeff Peters, HBO’s Vice President of Licensing and Distribution.
