Kaamelott moves to Les Estables
From Tuesday 19 March to Thursday 21 March 2019, the commune of Les Estables in the Haute-Loire will welcome Alexandre Astier’s teams for the shooting of scenes from the film Kaamelott.
Created, written and directed by Alexandre Astier, Kaamelott is a series telling the story of the Knights of the Round Table of King Arthur. Their purpose? To seek the Holy Grail. Their assets? Absolutely none! A television fiction that has become a cult, the fans number in the thousands and the memorable lines are still in the minds of each and every one of them.
If Alexandre Astier chose Les Estables as the filming location for these few days, it is not by chance. The team of the series had already put its cameras there for the scenes concerning the rock of Excalibur. The legendary sword was replanted on the Mont Mézenc near this commune of Haute-Loire.
