Murder Mystery: shooting in Montreal and Italy
One of the latest Netflix releases has just been announced: Murder Mystery. This action comedy brings together many great names of international cinema such as Jennifer Aniston, Luke Evans, Adam Sandler, Terence Stamp, Gemma Arterton, Luis Gerardo Mendez but also Dany Boon. Here the French actor plays his very first role in an American film. He joins Omar Sy, Marion Cotillard, Eva Green and Jean Dujardin among the actors who have enjoyed success across the Atlantic.
The film tells the story of a New York couple who find themselves the main suspect in a murder case after meeting a wealthy businessman on a trip to Europe.
The film was shot in Montreal, but also in Italy in the port of Santa Margherita Ligure in Genoa and on the splendid Lake Como. The latter is regularly used in movies, notably in Star Wars, episode II: Attack of the Clones, but also in Casino Royale, Ocean’s Twelve and A Month by the Lake. A dream location, a choice cast, you just have to wait until June 12, 2019 to discover this fiction.
