Kasbah Hotel Xaluca Arfoud – Heartbreaker
A small but well noticed role. Philippe Lacheau plays a very casual boyfriend at the cutting edge of muflerie. Quietly by his swimming pool, he revels in his holidays, while his girlfriend travels through the desert. In an interview for Première, Philippe Lacheau said about Heartbreaker that this film allowed him to flirt “At the time I was telling the girls that I was in it. I was very proud, I told everyone that I had the lead role because I was the first one in the film. (Laughs.) In fact, it was my first experience in cinema and it was only a small role. Well… it didn’t really work for dating because the girls were mostly ecstatic about Romain Duris.”.

Le café Saint-Médard – Paris à tout prix
Maya (Reem Kherici) drinks a drink on the terrace of this café with Firmin (Philippe Lacheau) and Alexandra (Cécile Cassel). This chic establishment offers a classic menu in an original and modern decor. Reem Kherici and Philippe Lacheau know each other well. Members of La Bande à Fifi, they were also a couple in 2004. Paris à tout prix was nominated at the Palm Springs International Film Festival 2014 in the New Voices/New Visions Awards category.

Fête des loges – Babysitting
Rémi (Enzo Tomasini) runs away from home during the surprise birthday party of his babysitter Franck (Philippe Lacheau). With the help of several of his friends, the latter tries to pick him up at the Fête des Loges. This fair is one of the oldest in France, its first edition dating from 1652. Originally, it was a religious manifestation venerating Saint Fiacre, a monk of Irish origin from the 7th century who founded a monastery near Meaux (77). It was only towards the end of the 17th century that the event became more entertaining and less religious. The famous scene during which the stripper hits Philippe Lacheau’s face with her buttocks was both funny and painful to shoot. The take had to be redone five times and the actor had to let go each time. If he resisted, he could get his nose broken.

Itacaré Eco Residence – Babysitting 2
Travelling to meet Sonia’s father (Alice David), Franck (Philippe Lacheau) and his gang go to the Lamar Eco Resort run by Jean-Pierre (Christian Clavier). In fact, the filming took place at the Itacaré Eco Residence, an environmentally friendly seaside resort. All the stunts in the film were performed by the actors themselves, including the parachute scene. Philippe Lacheau, Tarek Boudali, Vincent Desagnat and Julien Arruti all four jumped out of their skydivers after several weeks of training. In two days, the catch was completely closed.

Yassine (Tarek Boudali) and Fred (Philippe Lacheau) get married at the town hall of Boulogne-Billancourt in order to prevent Yassine from being evicted.
For Allociné, Philippe Lacheau confided in us about his role, saying that “Fred is a lazy guy who lives with Charlotte Gabris at the beginning of the film. He has no plans for a couple, no professional plans, so he’s going to do his buddy a favor and get married to him. But he is going to get too caught up in the game and for the first time, he will be motivated by something. Maybe even a little too motivated at times… For him it will be a revelation, something very positive that will radically change him. He is a bit naive, a bit stupid, carefree, which leads him into funny situations. I have a friend who is a bit like that in life. I was kind of inspired by him.”

Axe-Majeur Cergy-Pontoise – City Hunter
Installed in the park, Ryô Saeba (Philippe Lacheau) and Kaori Makimura (Élodie Fontan) are entrusted by Dominique Lettelier (Didier Bourdon) with the mission of protecting the perfume of Cupid. This park is actually that of the monumental work Axe majeur, composed of twelve stations over a length of 3.2 kilometres, including a leaning tower, a set of twelve columns, a footbridge, an island and a laser beam that flies over the course. This is the most important achievement of Israeli sculptor Dani Karavan, who accompanied the construction for more than thirty years. Numerous rappers have filmed clips such as Disiz, Maître Gims or La MG.
To prepare for his role, Philippe Lacheau followed a strict diet for eight months and gained eight kilograms of muscle. The actor-director also trained to shoot with a magnum, machine guns and learn many action scene choreographies. Multiple pop culture references are scattered throughout the film. Pamela Anderson plays a pin-up girl like Jessica Rabbit, two children in the park are called Olive and Tom or Nicky Larson’s underwear is called “La Casa de Popol”, in reference to La Casa de Papel (Money Heist).
