The Warner Bros Studio Tour Harry Potter, a magical dive
Warner Bros., one of the world’s largest production companies, had a sharp nose when it said yes to the Harry Potter movies. Eight films and millions of fans, the young wizard has become an icon of pop culture. Although the streets of London already allow a first full stay in the colours of Harry Potter, the production company has decided to open the doors of its studios to welcome the many fans and show them the sets, props and costumes of the saga.
To offer an immersive experience in the universe of one of the most mythical epics of the cinema requires space, and it is at Leavesden studios that Warner Bros. decided to set up its special Harry Potter complex. On the program, three hours of intensive visits on the theme of witchcraft.
For example, one can project oneself into the ballroom / refectory at Hogwarts. Decorated for the Yule Ball, we find this mythical hall in which all schoolchildren dreamed of sitting or, in this context, dancing.
A visit to the principal never pleases anyone, but when it’s in the office of the wise and powerful Dumbledore, being summoned doesn’t have the same effect.
Inaugurated in 2017, the latest exhibition allows visitors to enter the dark and dangerous Forbidden Forest. This shelter with hypogriffs, centaurs and other magical creatures turns out to be as terrifying as it is thrilling.
Need to go shopping? Before reaching the shop at the end of your visit, don’t hesitate to hunt for some bargains in the chemin de Traverse, the famous shopping street where you can find everything you need for wizards.
You want to go to these studios and the famous Magicobus doesn’t answer your calls? If you live in London during your stay, there are two Moldovan solutions. The first is to reserve a seat on a Golden Tour bus, but the most economical is the second. From Euston Station in London, take a Northwestern Railway train to Watford Junction Station. From there, a bus in the colours of Harry Potter, takes you straight to the Holy Grail, the studios of Leavesden. Cost of the operation? 20 pounds per person round trip compared to 40 pounds with the Golden Tour.
