How do you include filming locations in your trip when the rest of your family isn't excited?

1. Include bars and restaurants that appear in movies or series in your days
Lunch or dinner stops are an opportunity to take your family to a restaurant that appears in one of your favorite movies or shows without anyone noticing. Sometimes you can even give them a unique experience, like going to Katz Delicatessen in New York City, an establishment that was featured in the movie When Harry Met Sally, but also serves up huge pastrami sandwiches that are sure to please kids and adults alike.

2. Find out which authors were inspired by a tourist location
Another way to enjoy your trip from a pop culture perspective is to look for information on must-see tourist spots. You can visit the Louvre Museum in Paris and remind your partner that this is where the plot of Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code novel takes place, which he/she loved.
