Ghostbusters 3 in the making: a possible return of the New York ghost hunters

Ghostbusters, the return to New York City

On November 13, 2018, Dan Aykroyd was a guest on The Big Interview on AXS TV. He took the opportunity to announce that he was in the middle of writing a third opus of the famous Ghostbusters saga.

Even if technically there is a third opus that has not been unanimously approved, this one will have the particularity of bringing together the original actors, without the late Harold Ramis, interpreter of Egon Spengler, who died in 2014.

Bill Murray has not yet answered his brother’s call, although Dan “thinks Billy is coming…. The story is so good. Even though he’s playing a ghost”. A big clue as to what role the actor elected in 2014 will play as the coolest guy in the universe.

If the project comes to fruition, we hope to see the famous New York barracks that has just been renovated and proudly display the franchise logo on its sidewalk, as we mentioned in our New York guide to the 1000 cult locations of films, series, music, comics and novels.
