Trianon Hotel
Now transformed into a private residence, the Trianon Hotel hosted the filming of Meurtrières for a brief period. The director Patrick Grandperret having exploited both the facade and the interiors such as the lobby and the rooms. This is where the character Nina (Hande Kodja) lives at the beginning of the film, before being committed to a psychiatric hospital.
Known for his sometimes rather brusque methods, Patrick Grandperret has also clashed several times with his actresses. One episode in particular marked the shooting. While a scene seems to require the actress Céline Sallette to take off her pants, she refuses. In anger, the director explains to Céline Sallette that it is however essential that she complies. After ten minutes of heated discussion, however, things were settled and work resumed as if nothing had happened and the scene in question was removed from the script.
Meurtrières marks the film debut of actress Céline Sallette.
