After losing her job a year ago, Constance (Marina Foïs) decides to come back to her hometown since she learns that a job is opening up in her old real estate agency. Determined to get the job back, Constance goes to his office. She calls Alain (Jean-Luc Vincent), the director, who prefers another younger candidate. The real estate agency is the Fouché office in Saintes.
Sébastien Marnier, the director, has a fascination for troubled characters. In her novels, the characters are all potential psychopaths or sociopaths. Faultless is no exception to the rule as we follow the story of Constance, a mythomaniac manipulator, in her personal tragedy.
The shooting of Faultless in Charente-Maritime took place during the summer of 2015.
3 Quai de la République
Located at 3 Quai de la République in Sainte, the real estate agency Cabinet Fouché closed its doors a few years ago.
On the banks of the Charente, near the footbridge linking the Quai de la République to the Square André Malraux, 3 Quai de la République used to house the Fouché real estate agency.
Concerning the footbridge, it is in 1927 that it opened its doors allowing the inhabitants to cross easily the Charente.
