Assane (Omar Sy) joins his ex-wife Claire (Ludivine Sagnier) in the café of the Appartement Saint-Martin. We discover through this scene that Assane is not the best father in the world. Nevertheless, he wants to make amends with his son Raoul (Etan Simon).
As a good gentleman, he offers Claire alimony, which she kindly refuses, offering instead to use the money to buy a gift for her son. He takes the opportunity to subtly hide the pension, as well as an origami in Claire’s coat at the end of their discussion.
Omar Sy describes his role in the series as a French James Bond. “it’sthe ideal character, it’s got everything. You can be light and funny, there are hasaction… ” Not surprisingly, this comparison comes up when you see Assane Diop’s character as a true gentleman burglar.

Café l'Appartement Saint-Martin
L’Appartement Saint-Martin is a coffee place located just in front of the Saint-Martin gate.
Parisian meeting place, the coffee place retranscribes this heritage with a cosy style in an industrial atmosphere.
The place offers a view of the Porte Saint-Martin which is one of the most famous triumphal arches in Paris. The monument was built at the request of Louis XIV in honor of his victories over the Rhine and Franche-Comté in 1674.
