If like many blockbusters Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was largely shot in the studio, on green screen, Ryan Coogler, the director, already at the head of the first part, also wanted to exploit the Stratton Student Center. The Stratton Student Center is the place to be for all students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and appears on the screen at length. In particular, it is possible to see him as Shuri (Letitia Wright) and Okoye (Danai Gurira) park their car in the square across the street, before going to meet Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne).
Two superheroines on campus
Already mentioned in the comics, the MIT campus, where Riri Williams studies, appears in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. A film in which shines the future Iron Heart, the new superheroine, known for its armor similar to that of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. Reunited, Shuri, the new Black Panther, and Riri Williams, with the help of Okoye (Danai Gurira), turn the campus upside down, before fleeing across the Harvard Bridge.

Welcome Iron Heart
Dominique Thorne makes her MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever before appearing in her own TV series. The actress having confided her impressions to Collider: “One of the nice things about Riri is that when we meet her, both in the comics and on screen, we discover her in her everyday life. We don’t have his origin story as it may have been the case for other superheroes. We get to know a 19 year old student as she does amazing things in her spare time. Things she needs to learn to use.“

Stratton Student Center
A must-see gathering place for MIT students, the Stratton Student Center is located in the center of campus.
Students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology receives the students. They can study, shop, relax and eat there. A sort of second home, the center has seven restaurants, a reading room, lounges, an art gallery, a bookstore, a bank, a supermarket, cafes and various study spaces for groups. It is located near Briggs Field, Harvard Bridge and the banks of the Charles River.
