Born Vito Andolini, the future All-Powerful Godfather from New York, lives in Sicily. He was forced to flee his native country after the successive murder of his father, uncle and mother by a local mafia godfather, Don Ciccio.
After fleeing and then hiding in the luggage of an old man, the young Vito leaves for America on a boat bound for New York. So young and yet already so marked by life, he finds in the Statue of Liberty a certain hope, a certain willingness to start from scratch.
Later, he will return to avenge these murders by posing as an importer of olive oil.

One of the most famous monuments in the world, the work of Frenchman Auguste Bartholdi is not only the emblem of New York, but also and above all that of freedom, a value so dear to Americans. The broken chains at its feet are a metaphor for freedom. To visit it, you must take the boat from Battery Park in southern Manhattan or Liberty State Park in New Jersey and it is recommended to buy tickets in advance.
