Mei
Mei, Miriam, Priya and Abby are the best friends in the world. Big fans of the boy band 4 Town, they decide to get the money to go see the band in concert at the SkyDome in Toronto. To achieve this, Mei uses her ability to transform herself into a giant red panda to sell her image to the kids at school.
On the night of the event Miriam, Priya and Abby go to the SkyDome without Mei who participates in the ritual to get rid of the red panda. She decides to keep her power and goes to join her friends at the concert. Accidentally breaking his mother’s talisman, she gets angry and turns into a gigantic red panda, disrupting the concert.
With the help of her family, friends and the boy band, Mei manages to return her mother’s human form by performing the ritual.
Turning Red is the first Pixar film directed by a solo woman: Domee Shi. For this feature film about puberty, the director has surrounded herself with a female team.

Rogers Centre
The Rogers Centre is the City of Toronto’s main stadium located at the foot of the CN Tower.
Formerly known as the SkyDome, the Rogers Centre is a stadium primarily used to host sporting events such as baseball, Canadian soccer, basketball and wrestling.
In its baseball configuration, the stadium can accommodate 49,282 seats, 31,074 in its soccer configuration, 22,911 for basketball and 68,000 for wrestling. For concerts, the stadium can accommodate between 10,000 and 55,000 seats.
The Rogers Centre is the first stadium to have a motorized retractable roof.
