Salvation Army Store
The entire production of Reacher took place in the Toronto area. No scenes were shot in the United States, let alone in the state of Georgia, where the plot is supposed to take place. The fictional town of Margrave, invented by Lee Child in his novels, was constructed on screen through a collage of several locations. Some real and others entirely made in studio. If the barber store doesn’t exist, the Salvation Army shop, where Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) goes to change his clothes, is a real store.
In reality, the store appears exactly as it is on the screen. No development was necessary to bring it to life. Located in Halton Hills, in the Greater Toronto Area, it just required some specific camera movements from the filmmakers in order to not reveal too much of the surroundings and realistically include the shop in this fictional environment.
Jack Reacher goes to the Salvation Army store twice to change his outfit. An undemanding traveler, he takes advantage of each of his visits to reveal himself a little, literally and figuratively, to his new friend, Detective Roscoe Conklin (Willa Fitzgerald). A place of transition, therefore, more important than it seems.
Reacher has been renewed for a season 2 only three days after the release of season 1.

This Salvation Army store sells clothing and other items in downtown Halton Hills in the Toronto area.
Nestled in a wooded area, the village of Halton Hills is a peaceful haven in the Greater Toronto Area. It is also close to Georgetown and natural attractions such as the Niagara Escarpment and the Bruce Trail, a spectacular 1290 km long hiking trail. The Niagara Escarpment bisects the city.
