Saint-Laurent Village Hall
The decision is made, to save the only class in his village, Jacques (Samuel Karmann) has no choice but to accept the prefect’s proposal: to welcome undocumented refugees. A confrontation is born between the inhabitants of the village concerning their reception. The village hall is the place for discussions between round tables and events.
Samuel Karmann not only welcomed refugees in this fiction, he decided to welcome one in real life. A desire shared by his sidekick on screen Clémentine Célarié who said she wanted to adopt a refugee at home after the film.
