It is impossible to stop in Barcelona without taking advantage of the magnificence of the Sagrada Familia, the most famous monument in the city. The production of Uncharted has settled permanently in the Catalan city, sailing between the airport, the Gothic Quarter and the Sagrada Familia.
Happy to host the crew of a big-budget Hollywood film, the city offered a lot of largesse to Ruben Fleischer, the actors and its craftsmen. Nevertheless, no scene was shot in the Sagrada Familia itself. Only the square was used for a decisive sequence, during which the chief villain, played by Antonio Banderas, a native of Madrid, emancipates himself from the yoke of his father to go it alone and restore his family’s standing. An important scene with a backdrop that is impossible not to notice. The towers designed by Antoni Gaudi contrast with the blue of the sky and give the whole a picturesque look.
About 20 years separate the Nathan Drake of the video games and the one of the movie.
