The Plage des Prises has known several. It is mainly on this stretch of sand that many scenes of Cœur Océan took place. In particular those including the refreshment bar “Au massif du Mont Blanc” held by the sparkling Lisa.
Other sequences of relaxation, dredging but also sports took place on this beach near La Couarde-sur-Mer. If the plot takes place mainly in summer, the shooting often takes place out of season, often in October. Sometimes problematic for the actors and actresses. “We’ve had worse [en terme de météo ndlr]. Last season, I shot beach scenes in October in swimsuits.” recalled Mathilde during an interview with Sud Ouest.
In four months, the teams of Coeur océan manage to shoot an average of 28 episodes.
Plage des Prises
Located at the level of Henri IV wood, the plage des Prises near La Couarde-sur-Mer is one of the most popular with tourists on the island of Ré.
Accessible by car or by the bicycle path, the plage des Prises is one of the most popular destinations for beachgoers. Ideal for swimming, it is also equipped with sanitary facilities, a picnic area and is often used for sailing and windsurfing. A stand up paddle school is also located on the site.
