Pearson House

TV show This Is Us (2016)
When they learn that they are expecting triplets, Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca Pearson (Mandy Moore) decide to leave their small apartment. Jack then finds a nice house in a quiet suburb of Pittsburgh. A house actually located far away, in Los Angeles, California.

I will seize the life I am meant to have, instead of waiting for it to come to me.

Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia)

In Hollywood, the film and television studios all have a database of houses that could appear on the screen. Already featured in the credits of the movie Teen Wolf, the house at 5223 Shearin Avenue, whose number became 1920 in This is Us, seemed perfect to house the Pearson family. A rather modest but comfortable building, with a typically American porch, which the filmmakers film several times. The house even takes the lead role in the most heartbreaking episode of This is Us, when it burns down after a short circuit. Episode 14 of season 2 in which Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia) dies after breathing too much smoke.

Of course, in reality, the house never burned down and the magic of special effects took care of making the fire realistic. An event that gave back its freedom to this property that has become cult for many fans around the world.
