Office
First production of the saga La Loi de… saga, composed of two three-episode mini-series and an anthology of eight TV movies, La Loi de Barbara has benefited from the full collaboration of the services of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The filming is centralized, like those of the following episodes, on the city of Angoulême, with stops in the small village of Combiers or in Saintes, at the courthouse. The director Didier Le Pêcheur also had the opportunity to film sequences in La Rochelle.
Filmed on location and not in a studio, the mini-series with Josiane Balasko filmed scenes in the office of Dominique Bussereau, the president of the departmental council of Charente-Maritime. A way there again to give the series a certain authentic patina, far from the fictions produced from studios. It is also a way for the region of New Aquitaine to offer its wonderful heritage a welcome exhibition.
Didier Le Pêcheur directed La loi de Barbara, but also the two TV films La Loi de Simon et La Loi de Gloria.
Conseil Général de Charente Maritime
Located north of the city center and the Old Port, the General Council of Charente Maritime manages all the current affairs of the department.
The General Council of Charente-Maritime does not go unnoticed with its contemporary architecture. Started in 1999, the work takes place on a plot of 13,500 m2. Essential, it brings together all the services concerning associations, education, culture, heritage, youth, the elderly or even health and sport.
